iView Therapeutics, Inc. (Zhuhai) is an innovative drug research and development technology enterprise invested by IVIEW Therapeutics, Inc. It was registered in January 2019 in the Hengqin New Area of Zhuhai City. The parent company, IVIEW Therapeutics, Inc., is located in the biotechnology hub of Pennsylvania, USA, and iView Therapeutics, Inc. (Zhuhai) serves as its headquarters in China. The company's core technology is an in-situ gel sustained-release technology with global independent intellectual property rights. Based on this technological platform, the company focuses on the development and industrialization of ophthalmic, nasal, and dermatological drugs. Around the company’s R&D projects, seven international patents, fifteen domestic patents, and nine academic papers have been completed and published. The founding team consists of Chinese and American scientists and entrepreneurs with successful experience in new drug development. Founder Dr. BO LIANG led the development of the FST-100 eye drop project, which was acquired by UK-based Shire Pharmaceuticals for $300 million in cash. Chief Scientific Officer Dr. ZHU QI, a postdoctoral fellow from Harvard Medical School, is familiar with innovative drug development policies in both China and the US and previously served as the global head of clinical R&D at Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS MI). Co-founder Dr. John J. Baldwin is also the founder of Shanghai Wuxi AppTec and Shanghai Hua Medicine.
