Building on our team’s pioneering legacy in inhaled nitric oxide (iNO) therapy — the current standard of care for treating neonatal hypoxic respiratory failure — we are advancing the next generation of life-saving cardiopulmonary therapies. The Third Pole platform enables on-demand, on-site generation of nitric oxide from air and electricity, eliminating the need for large compressed gas cylinders. We believe our novel approach of delivering electrically generated nitric oxide (eNO) on-demand in both hospital and home settings has the potential to provide clinicians with flexible and innovative solutions beyond hypoxic respiratory failure, including pulmonary hypertension, interstitial lung disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), cystic fibrosis, and critical viral and bacterial infectious disease management.
