Tactical Medical Solutions® is a global leading developer and manufacturer of pre-hospital medical devices for tactical and civilian use. Founded by Special Forces medics, they simultaneously developed the SOF® Tactical Tourniquet. Today, their tourniquet is one of only two windlass tourniquets approved for use by the U.S. Department of Defense and the Tactical Combat Casualty Care Committee, and it is the preferred tourniquet of the American Red Cross. Although initially aimed at supporting the military, circumstances have evolved, and TacMed has gradually expanded its services to include law enforcement, firefighting, EMS, rescue operations, and even civilians. As a result, their product line has significantly expanded and continues to evolve.
