Aeovian Pharmaceuticals is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company dedicated to developing targeted and highly selective small-molecule drugs to restore cellular metabolic quality control, thereby addressing growth dysregulation and signal hyperactivation in certain rare genetic disorders and age-related diseases. Our lead candidate drug, AV078, is a CNS-penetrant, selective mTORC1 inhibitor, representing the first-in-class treatment for TSC-refractory epilepsy, currently undergoing Phase 1 trial evaluation. TSC is a rare genetic disorder caused by hyperactive mTORC1 signaling. In addition to AV078, we have developed a proprietary library of small-molecule compounds that are potent and selective inhibitors of either mTORC1 or CD38, with the potential to precisely target various rare diseases and age-related conditions based on their underlying biological properties.
