Basic Information
Kozo Keikaku Engineering (KKE) is a structural engineering firm founded in 1956 by Dr. Makoto Hattori of the Tokyo Institute of Technology. In 1961, KKE became the first company in Japan to apply computers to the evaluation of structural integrity in buildings. The company started with a structural design office of fewer than 10 members and steadily grew its business by leveraging knowledge of computer science and engineering technology to expand its customer base.
