Our mission is to discover and develop innovative therapies to preserve and restore brain function for patients with neurodegenerative diseases, benefiting the lives of patients, families, and society as a whole.Our pipeline of new therapies includes multiple candidates for treating neurological and psychiatric conditions, based on decades of research focused on cognitive neuroscience and the neurobiology of the aging brain. Our most advanced clinical program targets Alzheimer's disease (MCI due to AD), the symptomatic, pre-dementia stage of Alzheimer’s leading to amnestic mild cognitive impairment. With this candidate, we believe we will deliver the first and only therapeutic targeting hippocampal hyperactivity, and potentially the first treatment to slow the progression of Alzheimer’s dementia and delay its onset.
