Veralox Therapeutics

Veralox Therapeutics, a small molecule drug discovery and development company located at the Frederick Innovative Technology Center, Inc. (FITCI), was founded in September 2017 with the mission of developing first-in-class treatments for rare immune-mediated blood disorders. The diseases targeted by the drugs include heparin-induced thrombocytopenia (HIT) and HIT with thrombosis (HITT), life-threatening conditions with high mortality rates that often require amputation due to complications.
