Orto Maquet

Orto Maquet developed the CASPAR system, which uses the Stabubli RX90 industrial robot. This system can be used not only in anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction surgery but also in bone surface preparation during total knee and total hip arthroplasty. Preoperatively, the surgeon plans the cutting of the lesion area based on preoperative CT images; intraoperatively, the robot automatically performs the cutting of the lesion area.
