Nokia Corporation is a multinational company headquartered in Finland, mainly engaged in the production of mobile communication equipment and services. Nokia was founded in 1865, initially focusing on logging and papermaking, later expanding into the production of rubber shoes, tires, cables, and mobile phones. Currently, its focus is on communication infrastructure business and advanced technology research, development, and licensing. The consumer mobile communication devices division was sold to Microsoft, after which the Nokia brand was licensed to Foxconn's subsidiary FIH Mobile and HMD Global for production and manufacturing. The health division was sold back to France's Withings, marking Nokia Corporation's official exit from the independent manufacturing of consumer electronics.
