MediBeacon

MediBeacon was founded in 2012, specifically to acquire optical diagnostic projects from Mallinckrodt, the pharmaceutical division of Covidien. MediBeacon's mission is to commercialize biocompatible optical diagnostic agents for physiological monitoring, surgical guidance, and imaging of pathological conditions in populations. Several product concepts in these areas are included in MediBeacon's intellectual property (IP) portfolio.
