BioCurate

BioCurate Pty Ltd, established jointly by the University of Melbourne and Monash University with support from the Victorian Government, acts as an independent "venture catalyst" and technology accelerator. BioCurate focuses on the early stages of new drug development—often referred to as the "valley of death" due to high attrition rates—a phase that is under-resourced yet critical. By closely collaborating with researchers and key university staff, BioCurate builds relationships, develops understanding and capabilities in translation and commercialization processes, with the clear goal of investing in projects to facilitate the successful development of new drugs.
