Breakpoint Therapeutics is a newly established company that will discover and develop new anti-cancer drugs. By targeting the DNA damage response ("DDR") in cancer cells, Breakpoint Therapeutics aims to advance the clinical development of first-in-class oncology drugs that interfere with DNA repair and replication stress tolerance pathways. Our mission is to develop drugs that successfully complement PARP inhibitors to enhance the treatment of therapy-resistant cancers.Breakpoint Therapeutics GmbH is a spin-off of Evotec SE, with €30 million in support from a financing round led by Medicxi, Taiho Ventures, and Evotec. The company was founded by Dr. Daniel Speidel and Dr. Jonathan Hollick.
