Kraft Healthcare Consulting, LLC, an affiliate of KraftCPAs, was established in 2009 as a collaboration between KraftCPAs, the firm, and Scott R. Mertie. With satellite offices located in Nashville, Kentucky, Mississippi, Ohio, and Germany, it provides reimbursement, compliance, and operational consulting services to hospitals, nursing homes, and other types of healthcare providers across nearly 40 states.Consulting services include preparation/review of Medicare and Medicaid cost reports, Chargemaster (CDM) analysis, coding and documentation reviews, and other reimbursement, operational, and compliance services. Additionally, members of KHC offer audit, tax, accounting, and transaction advisory services to clients and collaborate with attorneys to provide expert reports for litigation matters.KHC is an active member of the Nashville Health Care Council and was recently named by Business Leader Magazine as one of the largest small businesses in the Southeast region. Employees and/or owners are actively involved in leadership roles in organizations such as the Healthcare Financial Management Association, American Bar Association, Medical Group Management Association, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
