ART Healthcare has developed a new enteral nutrition safety solution. The ART solution includes physiological monitoring of patients on enteral feeding and real-time prevention of aspiration pneumonia. The company has developed a preliminary working model of the console and demonstrated the system's feasibility in a laboratory model. Development through the incubator phase should enable the company to complete full preclinical packaging, with the goal of initiating the first human clinical trial preferably before the end of 2 years.
