Basic Information

Citryll is adopting a novel approach to treating autoimmune and other human diseases, such as lupus, vasculitis, pulmonary fibrosis, rheumatoid arthritis, and organ damage caused by sepsis, by targeting and inhibiting the toxic source molecules derived from autoantigens and neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs), rather than broadly addressing inflammation or acquired immunity. The latter represents the mechanisms of action (MoAs) of current drugs, such as anti-TNF antibodies, small molecule Jak inhibitors, and B-cell biology antagonists (e.g., anti-CD20 antibodies).
