In 2018, Federation University Australia and 15 partner universities received $55 million in funding from the federal government to establish the Digital Health Cooperative Research Centre (CRC). This seven-year partnership also includes industry and other public health stakeholders. The Digital Health CRC will improve the health and healthcare of Australians through the integration of multidisciplinary skills, industry knowledge, technology, networks, and data, while driving economic growth through collaborative research and development.
