In 1898, Samuel Bronstein founded the American Bedding Company in St. Paul, Minnesota. In the early 20th century, American Bedding expanded and improved upon bed springs, later rebranding as King Koil. King Koil has come a long way, with its mattresses epitomizing quality and value. In the early 20th century, King Koil expanded globally, becoming one of the industry leaders. Currently, King Koil operates branches in over 70 countries worldwide, with its global headquarters located outside Chicago, Illinois. In 2004, the company name at the headquarters was changed to Comfort Solutions.
