Kadimastem is a clinical-stage cell therapy company that develops and manufactures "off-the-shelf" allogeneic patented cell products based on its technology platform for the expansion and differentiation of human embryonic stem cells (hESCs) into functional cells. AstroRx® is the company’s lead product, an astrocyte-based therapy for ALS, currently in clinical development. IsletRx is the second product under development by the company. IsletRx consists of functional insulin-producing islet cells designed to treat and potentially cure patients with insulin-dependent diabetes. IsletRx demonstrated safety and efficacy in a proof-of-concept preclinical study.
