Basic Information
Texas A&M AgriLife Extension is a unique educational institution with a statewide network of professional educators, trained volunteers, and county offices. It covers every county in Texas to address local priority needs. Some of the agency's major efforts include mitigating the impact of drought; conserving water in households, landscapes, and production agriculture; enhancing emergency management; strengthening food security; and safeguarding human health through education in areas such as diet, exercise, disease prevention, and management.
