KAHR is developing next-generation immuno-oncology candidates for the treatment of various types of cancer. The company's lead product, DSP107, is a first-in-class CD47x41BB-targeting compound that simultaneously targets cancer cells, weakening their innate defense capabilities while activating potent localized responses in both innate and adaptive immunity. KAHR’s technology platform is based on Multifunctional Immune Recruiting Proteins (MIRPs), which leverage the overexpression of checkpoint antigens on cancer cells to selectively target and bind to tumors. By combining immune checkpoint inhibition with localized immune cell activation, MIRPs bridge cancer cells to immune cells, creating a targeted synergistic effect that unmasks the camouflage of cancer cells to enable an innate immune response while recruiting the adaptive immune system to bind and selectively kill cancer cells.
