Fe3 Medical Inc. has developed a novel treatment for iron deficiency anemia, a condition that affects over 14 million women in the United States alone. The most common treatment for these women is oral iron supplements; however, nearly half of these patients cannot tolerate oral iron due to nausea, constipation, and other gastrointestinal side effects. We have developed a single-use transdermal patch that requires minimal preparation and is gentle on the skin. Worn overnight once a week, the Fe3 patch delivers the required amount of iron directly through the skin, bypassing the gastrointestinal tract and eliminating adverse side effects. As a result, our treatment has the potential to significantly improve patient experience and enhance patient compliance. We possess crucial preclinical and market research data and are planning to initiate clinical trials.
