UMS

UMS was founded in Germany in 1988 and has since become a leading provider of shared medical services. In the late 1990s, UMS introduced the concept of mobilizing traditionally permanently installed, ultra-large medical equipment in hospital environments. Today, UMS can easily move equipment in and out of procedure suites on a daily basis. Our first mobile devices were our lithotripsy and stereotactic breast biopsy systems. Since then, UMS has incorporated Urological Laser and MRI imaging into our business model and has performed over 650,000 procedures across more than 850 medical institutions in the United States, Canada, and South America.
