Cerevel is a biopharmaceutical company focused on developing candidate drugs for the treatment of central nervous system (CNS) disorders. The company has a range of pre-commercial neuroscience assets, including three clinical-stage compounds and several preclinical compounds, aimed at targeting a broad array of CNS disorders, such as Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, epilepsy, schizophrenia, and addiction. Headquartered in the Greater Boston area, Cerevel was founded in 2018 through a collaboration between Bain Capital and Pfizer.
