REVA Medical is a medical device company dedicated to developing bioresorbable polymers for vascular applications. Its mission is to restore lifelong health for patients by applying biomaterials in the development and commercialization of implantable medical devices. REVA’s lead product, Fantom Encore, is a drug-eluting bioresorbable scaffold for the treatment of coronary artery disease. Fantom Encore is made from REVA’s proprietary tyrosine-derived polymer, Tyrocore. Unlike metal stents, Fantom Encore is designed to support the artery through the healing process and then disappear from the body (or "resorb"), restoring the artery's natural function.
