TreeFrog Therapeutics is a biotechnology start-up headquartered in Bordeaux, France, focusing on developing stem cell-derived cellular therapies for millions of patients. It aims to deliver cellular therapies through C-Stem TM, a high-throughput cell encapsulation technology that enables the scaling up of cell therapy manufacturing in bioreactors, thereby reducing the cost of cell therapies and improving cell quality to ensure the genomic safety of cell therapy products. Additionally, it enhances the efficacy of cell therapies through a delivery method based on mature 3D microtissues (as opposed to suspension-based progenitor cell therapies). C-Stem allows for exponential expansion of iPS cells with high viability, pluripotency, and genomic integrity in large-scale bioreactors, enabling the production of commercial-scale single batches exceeding 10 billion cells. Our iPS platform also facilitates the direct differentiation of human pluripotent stem cells into desired cell types in ready-to-use 3D microtissue formats.
