Regentys is an early-stage company based in Florida, dedicated to the development and commercialization of innovative medical devices for gastrointestinal applications. Asana's primary product, ExtraCellular Matrix Hydrogel (ECMH), is a hydrogel composed of extracellular matrix derived from porcine tissue. ECMH creates an environment conducive to the body’s growth of new tissue, replacing diseased or damaged tissue. Extracellular matrix has been proven safe and effective in esophageal repair, hernia transplants, vaginal slings, burns, and wound dressings. The novel application of Asana's technology will treat ulcerative colitis (UC), a debilitating disease that impairs colon function.
