Verve Therapeutics is a gene drug company that pioneers a new approach to cardiovascular disease (CVD) care, shifting treatment from chronic management to single-dose gene editing therapies. Despite significant treatment advancements over the past 50 years, cardiovascular disease remains the leading cause of death worldwide. The current model of chronic care is fragile—requiring strict patient adherence, extensive healthcare infrastructure, and regular access to medical services—and leaves many patients under-treated. Our goal is to disrupt the chronic care model of CVD by offering a novel single-dose in vivo gene editing therapy, focusing on addressing the root causes of this highly prevalent and life-threatening condition.
