Basic Information
Targovax (OSE:TRVX) is a clinical-stage immuno-oncology company developing immune activators for difficult-to-treat solid tumors. Targovax aims to deliver greater clinical benefit to cancer patients by deploying its versatile platform to target key immune modulators and oncogenic drivers. Targovax’s focus is on “activating the patient’s immune system to fight cancer,” thereby extending and transforming the lives of cancer patients. Targovax’s pipeline targets various cancer indications, including melanoma, mesothelioma, and colorectal cancer. The company’s candidate products are designed to harness the patient’s own immune system to combat cancer while offering good safety and tolerability. Targovax’s lead clinical candidate, ONCOS-102, is a genetically modified oncolytic adenovirus designed to selectively infect cancer cells and activate the immune system to fight cancer. Supported by clinical data across multiple indications (including monotherapy and various combination therapies), the next development step for ONCOS-102 will be to further improve responses in melanoma patients who are resistant or poorly responsive to current standard-of-care treatments.
