Gabriel Sciences is a biotechnology company with the mission of advancing the treatment and understanding of psychiatric disorders through its translational research, including opportunities for collaboration with academic medicine. The company has been a recipient of both Phase I and Phase II NIH SBIR grants for the development of a clinical DNA database to enable predictors of antipsychotic drug response. The current focus is on the use of α2-noradrenergic receptor antagonist drugs.
