FRR is a joint venture established in April 2005 by Chugai Pharmaceutics Co., Ltd., Mitsui & Co., Ltd., and the Central Institute for Experimental Animals. Then, in September 2011, FRR began a new chapter as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chugai Pharmaceutics Co., Ltd. The company integrates cutting-edge knowledge in genomics, antibodies, and molecular pathology to explore unique drug development targets with innovative approaches, achieving significant accomplishments in antibody drug discovery and cancer stem cell research.
