Entest BioMedical is dedicated to the development and commercialization of immunotherapy for the veterinary market. The company is developing the ImenVax family of canine cancer vaccines, which includes ImenVax I, a therapeutic vaccine for canine cancer that involves isolating tumor cells from patients and placing the cells in a cell implant device for subcutaneous insertion into the patient; ImenVax II uses cell lines to continuously release immune-related cytokines to achieve maximum anti-tumor immune response; and ImenVax III, a canine cancer vaccine that treats existing tumors by stimulating an immune response. It is also developing the ENT-576 therapy for the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. In addition, the company operates veterinary hospitals.
