Enhance Pharmaceuticals

In March 2002, Enhance Pharmaceuticals was acquired by Barr Laboratories Inc. Enhance Pharmaceuticals Inc. (EPI) develops drug delivery technologies for women's healthcare. The company’s products include Assure, Enhance EP, Enhance E, Enhance L, and Enhance UI. Assure is a subdermal contraceptive implant, while Enhance EP and Enhance E are used for hormone replacement therapy. Enhance L is used for cervical anesthesia. EPI was founded in 1994 and is headquartered in Plainsboro, New Jersey.
