Engage Therapeutics was founded in 2017 as a biopharmaceutical company bringing innovative drugs to market. The company’s lead investigational drug is Staccato® Alprazolam, an easy-to-use, small handheld drug-device combination product that utilizes an FDA-approved alprazolam delivery system to stop active and acute seizures. Staccato alprazolam demonstrated a reduction in seizures in the photosensitivity model during a Phase 2a proof-of-concept study. The product will utilize the 505(b)(2) regulatory pathway to advance into clinical settings.
