Ecogenomics

In 2012, the University of Arizona (UA) envisioned a great opportunity to implement the new science of "Ecogenomics." The Ecogenomics Initiative aims to explore the emergent properties and processes of ecosystems through "top-down" analysis of communities, populations, and organisms, as well as "bottom-up" analysis of genomes, transcriptomes, and metabolomes.
