GreenBone Ortho has developed a wood-derived bone implant technology for generating biomimetic - resorbable - load-bearing implants suitable for addressing non-healing fractures. This concept was conceived and developed by the ISTEC-CNR research group in Faenza, consisting of Andrea Ruffini, Simone Sprio, and Anna Tampieri.
