Granalix's first product, GranaGard, is a submicron self-emulsifying formulation of pomegranate seed oil (PSO). PSO contains a high concentration of punicic acid (PA), the strongest natural antioxidant. In the GranaGard formulation, PA has been shown to convert into CLA (conjugated linoleic acid) in the body, an established neuroprotectant and mitochondrial activity modulator.
