Egan Medical Equipment & Supply is an online retail supplier providing medical equipment, medical supplies, orthopedic supports and braces, maternity support belts and clothing, vitamins, and nutritional supplements. Egan Medical is the official retail medical equipment division associated with Egan Healthcare Services, an organization offering a range of home healthcare services in Louisiana, including home care, skilled nursing, medical staffing, hospice, diabetes care, physical therapy, occupational therapy, respiratory therapy, and a full suite of other services. Established in 1988, Egan Healthcare was founded by the son of the founder, CEO, and principal shareholder of Egan Medical in January 2011. Since its inception, Egan Medical has expanded in both scale and scope. Initially, its brick-and-mortar store was responsible for nearly all of the company's revenue; however, within 18 months, the online business had overtaken the physical operations, meeting all targets and performance expectations, and securing its place within the Egan Healthcare family.
