Gloucester's first compound, romidepsin, is a late-stage oncology candidate that has demonstrated potential activity across a range of hematologic malignancies. The company holds worldwide exclusive rights to romidepsin, an oncology candidate from a new class of anti-cancer agents called histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitors. Preclinical studies have shown romidepsin to be a potent inhibitor of Class I, II, and IV HDACs.
