Genus Oncology

Genus Oncology was founded in 2007 with the mission to discover, develop, and commercialize novel anti-cancer agents targeting the Mucin 1 (MUC1) oncoprotein. For many years, researchers have been aware of the high incidence of MUC1 overexpression across a range of cancers and hematological malignancies. To date, there has been no viable method to selectively target and block the function of MUC1 that leads to tumor formation.
