Genopole®

Genopole® is France's leading science and business park dedicated to biotechnology and biotherapy. The Genopole® project began in 1998, driven by the French government, the Regional Council of Île-de-France, the Departmental Council of Essonne, and the French Muscular Dystrophy Association (Association Française contre les Myopathies, AFM), in the towns of Evry-Corbeil (located in the Essonne department south of Paris). The aim was to establish France’s first science and business park devoted to genomics, genetics, and biotechnology, helping the country catch up with international competitors in these fields.
