Since its establishment in 1885, Fujikura has contributed to the improvement of society by providing advanced technology and uncompromising reliability. In the past, their strength was a highly stable business built on strong partnerships with numerous blue-chip clients. However, the market upon which Fujikura's future survival depends is on a highly competitive global stage. Yet, in order to not only survive but also win in this continuously and dramatically changing market, it is necessary to fundamentally reform their corporate culture. To achieve this goal, in August 2005, they formulated the "Mission, Vision, Core Values" for all Fujikura employees to share—a new set of business principles that will help us successfully complete a new course of success through reform into the third era.
