Flanders, established in 1950, designs, manufactures, markets, and distributes air filters and related products. They consider themselves to be the largest manufacturer of air filters in the United States, serving a wide range of industries including commercial and residential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems (commonly referred to as "HVAC" systems), semiconductor manufacturing, ultra-pure materials, chemicals, biological, radiological, and material processing, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, synthetic materials, nuclear power, and nuclear material processing. They also leverage proprietary technology to design and manufacture their own production equipment, automating their processes to reduce labor costs associated with standard products.
