Firefly Medical was founded in Fort Collins, Colorado in 2013. IVEA, the company's flagship product, addresses multiple issues related to patient mobility in acute care. Designed to enhance patient mobility, staff efficiency, and the safety of both patients and caregivers, IVEA replaces outdated IV poles and bed rails, providing stable support for patients during walking. This disruptive technology eliminates the need to transfer devices from one piece of equipment to another and allows a single nurse to safely ambulate a patient, saving time and money. As a recipient of the 2015 Edison Award, IVEA has been transforming healthcare across Chinese hospitals, with international sales development currently underway.
