Fibrocell is a cell and gene therapy company focused on improving the lives of patients with rare diseases of the skin and connective tissue. The company is leveraging its proprietary autologous fibroblast technology to develop personalized biologics that target the root cause of diseases. Fibrocell’s pipeline of localized gene therapy product candidates includes FCX-007 for the treatment of RDEB, a life-threatening genetic disorder diagnosed in infancy. Fibrocell is also developing FCX-013 for the treatment of moderate to severe localized scleroderma.
