FF Pharma is developing an anti-CD40 monoclonal antibody therapy for the treatment of chronic inflammatory diseases such as primary biliary cirrhosis and Crohn's disease. The function of CD40 in immune regulation suggests that the CD40 pathway may play a role in diseases characterized by abnormal immune responses such as autoantibody production or chronic inflammation.
