Excelsior Medical

Excelsior Medical was founded in 1989. In 1990, Excelsior Medical launched the PharmAssist dispensing pump, which reconstitutes powdered medications into liquid form. In 1995, Excelsior Medical developed and introduced the ESP injection pump to complement our PharmAssist dispensing system. In 1997, Excelsior Medical launched the Syrex pre-filled catheter flush syringe, which has become one of the largest manufacturers of pre-filled flush syringes in the United States after years of development. In 2007, they introduced the new ZR series syringes specifically designed to reduce reflux associated with syringes and began focusing on developing intraluminal catheter care products. Excelsior Medical is also one of the few manufacturers that perform 100% terminal sterilization on all its pre-filled syringe products.
