European Organization for Researchand Treatmentof Cancer

For many years, the clinical research of the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) has contributed significantly to the treatment and management of cancer, evaluation of new molecules, improvement of existing treatment regimens, identification of biomarkers, and assessment of patients' quality of life. Over the past 55 years, many of the more than 1,400 EORTC studies have led to practice-changing treatments, established new standards of care, or demonstrated that other investigations were ineffective or redundant.
