Eternygen is a Berlin-based startup founded in June 2012, focusing on the development of innovative drugs by leveraging a network of renowned scientists and contract research organizations. The main focus of Eternygen's growth and its founder's core competency is the research and development of new drugs for diet-related metabolic diseases, which have seen a sharp increase in prevalence over the past few decades. Eternygen's research targets the sodium-coupled citrate transporter NaCT, a key regulator of fatty acid metabolism involved in the pathogenesis of fatty liver, diabetes, and obesity.
