Originally Link Technology, Inc., Endacea, Inc. (RTP, NC) is an emerging biopharmaceutical company developing a proprietary series of A1 adenosine receptor (AR) antagonists as drug candidates for various medical indications: 1) inflammation, including sepsis and asthma; 2) renal impairment. Endacea is advancing its lead compound, the A1 AR antagonist L-97-1, as a candidate for i.v. antimicrobial therapy, as well as a post-exposure medical countermeasure for plague and other biodefense indications.
