Encore Pharmaceuticals

Encore Pharmaceuticals, Inc. originated from an academic laboratory at Loma Linda University, where a close-knit group of researchers focused on developing new clinical applications for what were considered "old" drugs, giving these drugs a "second chance." After a decade of development, Encore Pharmaceuticals formally signed a technology transfer licensing agreement with Loma Linda University on May 29, 1997, and was officially incorporated in Delaware.
